Dan radiates joy as do his masterful, handblown, glass creations!

"It's something that's always facinated me. I started in stained glass, but it didn't take long to know I didn't have the patience for that. When I had the opportunity to take classes in blown glass, I did, and fell in love with it! There are so many things you can do with the glass. It's the magic of the whole process...the colors, the light, the different shapes. The interplay of light and color in the glass is ever-changing. It's wonderful to see!"

Dan's been creating beautiful, original, handblown art glass designs for 19 years. He is well known for his blown glass vases, perfume bottles, bowls, creative paper weights, Christmas ornaments, glass sculptures, platters, and oil lamps. Custom pieces are also welcome. His functional glass bowls are available in several styles, including fluted, handkerchief and freeform patterns. They are available in solid or multi-colored glass. His glass paperweights are available in a wide variety of styles - floral paperweights, swirls of color, glass eggs, and hearts.

"It's a continual learning process. Every time I go into the studio and think I have it all figured out, the glass reminds me, I don't. The glass has a mind of its own. I just try to guide it along. It gives me tremendous joy and satisfaction to know I can create something that could be around 1-2,000 years. Hopefully, I'm bringing a little more beauty into this world!" Dan is one who really appreciates...celebrates God's marvelous creation!
